Dr. Tsu-Hong Yen joined the Department of Hospitality Management in 2002. Before coming to San Jose, he had taught at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon, and Da-Yeh University in Taiwan. He has taught a variety of courses in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. Dr. Yen has published in a number of academic and professional journals. He also has presented his research at national and international conferences. His research interests include service quality, service management, culture and tourism, information technology, marketing research, and consumer behavior. He holds a BB in Tourism from the Chinese Culture University ( Taiwan), an MBA with a concentration in transportation from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Tennessee, an MS and a Ph.D. in leisure studies from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. For his leisure, he likes to travel, biking, and cooking.
