Biography:
Doris Gallan is a tourism consultant and writer who has traveled to all seven continents and 50+ countries. She has spoken at numerous travel and tourism conferences giving seminars on traditional and social marketing especially concerning the Baby Boomer (people born between 1946 and 1964) market segment. She currently teaches Marketing, Human Resources Management, Strategic Management, and Hospitality Management classes at Duy Tan University, in Da Nang, Viet Nam.
As a Baby Boomer herself she understands the needs and desires of this largest of groups with the time and money to travel. Doris wrote the book on travel for her generation: “The Boomers’ Guide to Going Abroad to Travel | Live | Give | Learn”. She has also contributed to several anthologies including: “65 Things to Do When You Retire”; “65 Things~ Travel”; and “Spread Your Wings and Fly”. Her essays inspire new travelers to get out there to see the world and more experienced trip-takers to travel in ways they may not have considered before.
