Prof. DBA. Jürgen Bleicher Pos of: Head of the Management in Industry Department

Biography:

Jürgen Bleicher has been a lecturer in Strategic Management and Controlling at Zeppelin University and at Furtwangen University for 14 years. Since 2013 he has been employed as full-time professor and head of the department Management in Industry at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) in Villingen-Schwenningen. His research interests and working areas include Strategic Management & Controlling, Business Models & Business Process Management, International Management, and Demography. 

Prior to joining the DHBW, he gained experience in several positions in industrial enterprises. The last position he held was that of Compliance Officer and Process Manager at ZF Friedrichshafen AG, a global leader in driveline and chassis technology and among the top 10 companies on the ranking list of the largest automotive suppliers worldwide.

Professor Bleicher is strongly involved in the theory-to-practice transfer. He was honored with the “Best Teaching-Award” for his Masters Course in Strategic Management at Zeppelin University.
